For this project, I aimed to use light as a visual communication medium to showcase the artisanal process of crafting the Panama hat, the most representative handcraft of Ecuador.

As the daylight changes throughout the day, it reveals how delicate threads interweave in a dance of warp and weft. The light unveils the direction of each thread, gradually overlapping to showcase the Cuenca weave pattern. 

Furthermore, light plays a vital role in projecting dynamic scenarios of movement onto the three surfaces of the box, acting as a storyteller in this captivating narrative of craftsmanship.
